At Ulnooweg Education Centre we offer hands-on STEAM education workshops that inspire and empower Indigenous youth. Our programs blend science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) with Indigenous knowledge to provide unique learning experiences that spark curiosity and build skills in STEAM fields.

We offer workshops for grades of all levels that meet a range of provincial learning outcomes. All workshops are free and include all materials needed.

Prosthetic Hand Workshop

3 hours

Grades: 8–12 | Max. students per session: 10
Students will explore biomedical engineering by assembling a 3D-printed prosthetic hand. While building this functional device, participants will gain an understanding of human anatomy and the vital role assistive technologies play in improving people's lives.
