At Ulnooweg Education Centre we offer hands-on STEAM education workshops that inspire and empower Indigenous youth. Our programs blend science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) with Indigenous knowledge to provide unique learning experiences that spark curiosity and build skills in STEAM fields.

We offer workshops for grades of all levels that meet a range of provincial learning outcomes. All workshops are free and include all materials needed.

Math with Dash Training (Teachers)

Grades: Teacher Training (Pre-Primary – 6 focus) | Time: 30–60 mins | Max Participants: 30
Learn how to create engaging math and coding activities that integrate Mi'kmaw culture, using Dash robots and digital learning tools. The session includes hands-on practice, along with access to a learning binder with math activities and lesson plans.
