At Ulnooweg Education Centre we offer hands-on STEAM education workshops that inspire and empower Indigenous youth. Our programs blend science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) with Indigenous knowledge to provide unique learning experiences that spark curiosity and build skills in STEAM fields.

We offer workshops for grades of all levels that meet a range of provincial learning outcomes. All workshops are free and include all materials needed.

Math with Dash Workshop

1 hour

Grades: P–6 | Max. students per session: 30
Math with Dash makes math and coding fun! Through fun, hands-on activities, students will use Dash Robots to explore math and coding concepts, while also learning about Mi’kmaw language and teachings. Teachers interested in using Dash robots in their classrooms can receive dedicated training and a learning binder filled with activities.
